What makes a video land

The videos that work for us never feel like ads. They feel like a friend showing you something from their day. Here is the shape we have seen work, in about 30 to 60 seconds.

Open in your real life. A meal, the weather, the mirror, your morning. Not a product close-up.

Do & avoid

Do

  • Film where you actually live — your kitchen, your shelf, your morning.
  • Talk like you are telling a friend, not reading a script.
  • Let the product be a character in your day, not the star of it.
  • Share what you really noticed, even a small thing.
  • Keep your raw footage. We may ask for the original file to reuse.

Avoid

  • Cure, treat, heal, fix. These are medical claims we cannot make.
  • "Results in 3 days" or "100% works". Promises we cannot guarantee.
  • "Side-effect free" or "safe for kids". Safety claims need separate sign-off.
  • Naming other brands. Keep it about your own experience.
  • Hard ad energy. If it sounds like a commercial, it will not land.

How you get paid

Commission
$50

The minimum balance to request a payout. Commission builds on every sale through your affiliate link.

Good to know

On the Creator track you cover your own shipping at checkout, and there is no content fee — your earnings come from commission. Track your balance and cash out any time you pass the threshold.

Questions

Where do I find my affiliate link?+

In your dashboard, right after approval. Use that exact link in your caption and bio so every sale is tracked to you.

When can I start posting?+

Creators can post once the product arrives and you have tried it. Partners post on the date we agree together during terms.

Can I keep the products?+

Yes. They are yours to keep and use as part of your everyday routine.

What if I want to say something not in the folder?+

Stick to the talking points in your product folder. If you are unsure whether a line is allowed, ask your YoungLong contact before you post.

How do I get paid out?+

Creators request a payout once their balance passes $50. Partners receive a content fee within 3 business days of upload, and commission 25 business days after the exclusive offer goes live.
